As some of you know My elder son Ricardo is in the autism spectrum! He is or have Asperger Syndrome

Today is the day for me to tell you "Hey, one kid between 92-100 will born with Autism!!
So someone near you is autistic!

Autism is not equal to retarded or stupid, most of the autistic children have normal or very high IQ, and they can go to school and universities.
But they need our help, because they don't understand our rules, our double speech, sarcasm, lies or even our corporeal cues. The world is an strange place were strange people have strange rules, that they don't understand so they need to learn in order to live with us.
If a kid with autism is diagnosed early in life He/She will recognize how to live with you when He/She will be an adult and everything will be more easy. If Not and we live in denial, that kid could develop psychiatric problems as an adult, like obsessive compulsive disorders, severe depression, agoraphobic, or food disorders or others . This will be not because they are autistic, but because they are humans and living year after year of being bullied, without understand why you say this and mean other different thing, why are you angry or sad, living without love and comprehension make this to you!

I'm proud and happy mom of Ricardo even if sometimes we don't understand each other and we are streesed, but we are learning and i hope he could live as an adult in a place who really live to "Infinite diversity in infinite combinations!"

i'm still with a cold!! and i can't sleep because is like i can't breath, so here i'm reading a fic, my blood pressure is still on high and tomorrow i have parent's meeting in my children' school.

Summary: Beverly know a lot about love and lost and Q was not in her favorite being list.


Beverly had always being in love with 3 men.

She married one and gave birth to another, but the third one always haunted her happiness when her husband lived, and after his death she was assigned to the Enterprise.

And then here she was in front of the other, her new Captain Jean Luc. She see some spark there and her hope grew, but even it toke years Beverly learnt to accept that Jean Luc was married to his work and he never really had a partner. So she was there as the friend. It was really cruel sometimes stay by his side and not be able to reach out for the one she loved.

Someday everything change, Q was the one who change it. The omnipresent and all powerful child who loved to play with the Enterprise and with Jean Luc, the problem was when Beverly noticed that Jean Luc respond to him, even in denial, Jean Luc responded to him.
They were closer trough the years and even when she called to her Captain some nights the one who answer was Q. Jean Luc suddenly disappear from the ship, mariachis came, Q stay as a demigod, or as a human.

Beverly was not stupid. She knew that her Captain had occasional girls neither of them, she knew, was really a menace, so she can always hoped some more for someday when he look at her and reach her. After Q her hopes disintegrated piece, by piece.
How she could have a chance with an eternal being who can be anyone and take him anyplace in the universe just for him?

When love came to her door she tried to answer, but when Odan, turn into Riker and finally became a She, Beverly couldn’t take it, not because her love was a woman now, but because she knew that she loves Picard still, and her new love will remind her constantly about how Q win her Captain heart.

After everything, she retired for the academy. Her son was lost too because apparently she can’t keep nothing she really loves, and he become like a Q out of time forever, too far away from her. Time heals they say, and may be is truth.

See young people were good for her soul. She even had a former Borg student now, a brilliant boy Icheb, from a distant star in the Delta quadrant. He was one of the Voyager crew, who as his son was trained as an acting ensign in his time in the stranded ship.

One day they were in a class together and some boy entered the room dress as a captain, light brown curly hair. He toke Icheb’s hand almost against his will, but in the boy eyes, she saw Jean Luc’s eyes. Icheb was in love with a Q, and this Q was in love with him.

She stopped them, before disappear.

Do you pretend to return that boy to my next class Q? He is brilliant and I want him to finish the academy!

Q bowed to her and there was a mischievous smile and the promise to return the boy and that was it.

They were young and in love. And she only hoped they still could be many years from now.
When she returned to her apartment that day, she called Her.
