Spock always knew his forever partner will not last forever, he think of that when he fall for him, the first time they had sex and he was afraid to meld with him, when they do it all the way and meld forever, and now the terrible time which scared Spock the most has nearly coming…
Admiral Kirk was 60 years old or so, but he catch every opportunity to try to get back into captain’s seat in the Enterprise; he was invited to the first flight of the new Enterprise with young officials and he must take the chance to get up there where he belongs.
Spock is like 40 forever, but Kirk as admiral and Spock as ambassador on earth could live a peaceful life in their apartment near the headquarters and the Vulcan embassy.
Their love and respect never decay even their sex always could improve they know all about their bodies, all about the special points, and their mind strong bond make them like 20 years old forever, but Spock is aware that forever goes in only one way.
Kirk was ready for tomorrow’s enterprise visit and he decided to take a long hot bath with his Spock, They were merely melding and holding each other, till Spock prescient the fact that they’ll never see each other again, because he knows .
He hids the fact in a corner of his mind, but Kirk was aware of his partner fear, but he coudn't tell what it was…
“What’s the matter Spock??, You can’t hide it forever, you know?”
“If I could speak my mind clearly, I'd assure you I let you know what happens, but If I articulate it now you for sure don’t believe it at all, and I have no facts or a definite theory at least for this feeling of mine, so is illogical to interrupt our evening together with a thing with no basis whatsoever”
“You will never change, my dear”, Kirk kiss his temple and take his hand and play with the fingers of the Vulcan, with affection and some arouse to see the mighty Vulcan so vulnerable at the moment.
“ I take this feeling of yours away” he kiss the green pointy ears, that he love so much and liked then making a trace to his collarbone always teasing his hand and making feel throw the Bond that he loves him so much, his arousal, and spock that he feel the same, so he continue.
All both bodies were explored again, and the caring love and devotion were stronger as ever, they completely surrender to their emotion, and in some point Spock become so possessive, than Kirk can’t occult a wide grin in his partner shoulders, the passion was overwhelming and they felt for it for hours.
Kirk finally tells him that he wasn't getting any younger, so he needs some rest before his departure in the morning, Spock wants to go with him, and was distress in the Bond… Kirk kissed him and hold him tightly, hold the Vulcan’s hand caressing his fingertips and they curl together until Kirk fall asleep. Spock passed all night seeing his lover face tracing with his finger that face he loves so much that lips who are the most beautiful in the universe, and with the fear in escalating range, he decide to meld with him deeply and take all the life of his partner in his mind, all his precious memories together and all the past too, he will cherish that for the rest of his life, but he knows whatever he tries to do he will not be able to make Jim stay away from any Enterprise, and this visit…
He left the bed and prepares breakfast he is now well instructed about what his partner prefers and decided to awake him with the cup of coffee in his hand.
The smell of the coffee and the copper taste still in his lips, make Kirk wakes up “So early, my dear”
He always loves to see his greener ears in a blush …
“I want to eat with you and accompany to your departure is it not logical, for a lover to do so??” his face says nothing but his eyes was eager Kirk knows.
“ You know Spock I only would take a walk around the block in the solar system and comeback, I know you must part for some months to Vulcan, but…” he decide to forget about the words and take a sit at his side and kiss him, the mark he made yesterday is still in place and that’s make his day.
When they were ready, they walk without talking till the headquarters terminal, Spock raise his hand to reach Kirk’s one and press firmly his fingertips into Jim as a Vulcan way of kissing, Kirk smile for the both of them, and put love and assurance through the Bond, Spock put love and tell him “You are and always will be my T'hyla”. Kirk grins and nods back with devotion.
Some hours later, Spock knew through the bond about the crisis, he speaks to the fleet and they informed him about the situation, so Spock continued to work with his pile of things to do, and make all his best effort to be collect and make sure to not sever the bond, he feel that Kirk is happy to be useful again and he was in danger, he feels his excitement and the old pressure, he did it, he saved the day, but then nothing
So Spock with weakling Bond between them says “goodbye my only T’hyla” and one tear drop comes running from his chick.
