Heart
His blood in my mouth
His heart in my own
Why does he gives himself to me?
I don’t recollect any good in me,
Nothing to give him in return,
His blood in my mouth
His heart in my own
I wonder if I had a heart.
I know I have a muscle sounding,
Where his blood flows into my body,
Why does he gives himself to me?
I know all about his kindness
I know all about his strength
I know all about his loyal heart
But, I have nothing to give him
Only a pair of jokes, a pair of smiles.
I have only sorrow to give him
I have only disaster at hand
I had a freezing heart to condemn him
But, for him it is a fair exchange
For all his life and warmth flowing into me
His blood in my mouth
His heart in my own
Why does he gives himself to me?
When I ask what is there for him?
He always smiles with his intense gaze
“You only need to know that you belong to me”
